Up early...peanut butter and banana bagel & coffee before the race
Event warmup:

No warm up for this one. We made it to the race site with 10 minutes to spare just in time to hit the porta potty line.

I came into the race not planning on racing. Because of the course terrain it was going to be challenge just to fininsh. I felt pretty good and decided just to enjoy myself. I didn't feel like I pushed myself outside my box, I felt comfortable the entire. The hills were hard...not only uphill but downhill as well. It felt pretty great to come off with my first marathon win!

Nothing...this race was fun!

This is a small race! The course is beautiful and challenging but worth doing!

Course: Hilly and rolling. The whole marathon was in the country which was beautiful. There were challenging hills through the entire course.
