Pre-race routine:

Up early for oatmeal breakfast and coffee. Drove to the shuttle pickup area at Towne Centre (oh lord, how I hate even typing that pretentious name!) and hopped right on a bus. We were there with plenty of time to spare.
Event warmup:

None

Comments:

Started out fast because I was running with my sister. After about a mile, she went on ahead, and I kept it pretty steady until the bridge. Crowding wasn't so bad this year, and I managed to get up without feeling too winded. From the top down, I kept the cadence up. Once we were on the flat areas again, I just tried to hold a steady pace and not worry too much about whether I could maintain it for the last mile and a half. That last mile was tough for me, but I held on and was happy with the result.

Temperature and weather were absolutely perfect that day.
What would you do differently?:

I was pretty happy with everything this time. Training was good - not great, but good - and my knee is doing fine.
Post race
Warm down:

Hung around, drank water and had a bagel.
