I've never experienced water that cold in my life. I had a full wetsuit on thank god, but it was painful o have your feet, hands an face exposed to it.

Terrible bike route which took us down pleasure ave in sea isle. This course had dozens of 90 degree turns on it. Passing was very difficult on this narrow road

Battling a stitch in my right side ribs every single time I go out lately. But overall extremely happy with the time

I'm doing the 22 week sprint tri program and the 2 mile bike ride it starts with is not very challenging. I see this as a opportunity to train the right way and challenge myself. Any ideas?

This past spring I realized a few of us were heading in the wrong direction physically. We were getting together for poker games and kids’ birthdays, but that was it.

The challenge? The accomplishment? I want to do this because it is an opportunity to live life. The event is an indoor sprint triathlon. I get to experience the challenge on a safer scale.

Already a cyclist and not a bad swimmer, I figured all I had to do was build up to running a few miles and I’d be ready to go. The challenge invigorated me, and I ran out to buy new running shoes.
