It ended up being a bummer day for the proposed race. Sure 105 sounds extreme but that's a bit low this time of year and then it was overcast. Actually not too bad a training day. I ran the 5k at the basin instead at 8:30pm and it was down to around 95 by race start. Still, it was warm and yeah, running in any kind of heat kind of sucks.

Yeah I wasn't trying to imply that it wasn't hot, man it was hot when I went off at 8:30pm, just that it was one of the least hot days we've had in the past month. It's looking like it should have been this upcoming week with the 117s that are being forecast.
