Subject: Used Quintana Roo for sale by 5'8" woman, $400This was my first tri bike. I bought it last year on this site and raced it several times, including my first Olympic distance. It's a Quintana Roo Private Reserve and I think I'm the third owner. First owner was a female pro triathlete. It no longer has the original paint job - it's painted gray. DuraAce real derailleur. Bullhorn bars, Syntace aerobars. The seat is fraying a little at the edge but other than that it's in good condition, no rust. I had the shifting worked on at my LBS because it was rough at first, now it works beautifully. New handlebar tape and tires. I'd throw in the aerobar water bottle. This was a fun bike and it fits me really well, but nearly all my riding is with roadies and I just don't use this bike enough to justify keeping it. I'm selling it to put the cash toward a tandem to ride with my little boy.
I can sell it with or without the Look pedals that came with it, they're fairly dated.
I'd like to get $400 out of it because I paid $350 and I've put at least a few hundred into improving it, but make me an offer. This would be a great entry level tri bike for a woman my size. I'm typing up all this from memory so if you have a specific question about it I'll be happy to check the bike and report back. I'll also get some pictures posted if anyone wants to see it. |
