I hear the Buckhead Sizzler 10k is a great Peachtree qualifier, it starts further up Peachtree road and ends at the intersection of Piedmont road (mostly downhill) Apparently they mail out time cards to include with your next year's Peachtree app. What did you think of this year's t-shirt?

The sizzler sounds like a great idea, i've heard from friends it's a really fast course.

As for the shirts, I liked them. Pretty plain but easily fit into the wardrobe. I think I've worn last year's model a total of four times because yellow goes with nothing. Maybe it's a girl thing but I likes to match

Aims, great job! Your time could definitely get you into the first time group for next year. That's what I'm shooting for -- a chip and a chance to get my name in the paper and avoid dodging all the walkers.

I'm gonna have to look into this Buckhead Sizzler. I'm all about downhill runs!

I went to the USATF site to look for certified courses to use to qualify for the Peachtree. You can search by drop so you can find races that are pretty much downhill. The Buckhead Sizzler is a fast one, but check out the Chattahoochee Road Runner's 10k: http://crrclub.com/racing.html#10k. It barely has any uphill parts and it's all downhill from the 4 mile on!
