Hi
I am new to triathlon world, mindset
I have always been afraid of creatures that bite in the ocean. So I decided to face down that fear and start swimming in the ocean
I did my first Sprint Triathlon in Redondo Beach in June and after that was in the record books and I did not die I was hooked!

And I just completed the Pier to Pier swim Hermosa to Manhattan 2 miles that was very hard but I did it!

Now I am looking for my next challenge and trying to improve in all 3 sports without getting injured all while working ....glad I found this website

congrats on your two events! That pier 2 pier swim is a good one, I used to do it every year when I lived in Hermosa.

The pier to pier is an awesome event
Why the heck I did it all breaststroke was newbie mistake....never to be repeated!
And I totally forgot that huge surf might be an issue after rounding Manhattan Beach pier!

I had read the articles on BT, I'd trained, and I thought I had prepared. There were, however, a few things that I didn't internalize despite what I'd been told.
