Subject: 2013 Specialized Shiv Elite (Apex)- Medium
This is a great bike for someone getting into the sport!! The bike itself is in near perfect condition and has been cared for well since I purchased it in May 2013! Total road miles are probably less than 400.

The bike has not been left outside or crashed, and I am the original owner. This bike is perfect for someone getting into the sport.

In addition to the stock bike here is what else you get:
-A DT Swiss 32 Carbon Clincher (rear wheel) that is in excellent condition as well. (Retailed for about $1,500)
-A pair of Shimano Ultegra pedals that are a few years old and beat up pretty good (Still work fine).
-Specialized Body Geometry Gel Tritip 50 saddle (light wear and tear)
- I also installed two Profile Design water bottles this summer. One between the aero bars and one behind the seat.
-X-Labs, Rocket Pocket.
-I'll also include the original stock rear wheel that replaced with the carbon clincher.

Where are you located?

I am debating springing for a tri bike. As a newbie, I have fought off the total obsession that comes with the fun new sport(s), but I give up: I am in love. I am in central California. If you are somewhere close, I would consider having a look.

How is the sizing of the bike? I am 5'10", and my road bike - an Allez - is a medium frame.

If we cannot end up making a deal, should I go for it anyway and get one of these babies locally?

The folks at RSS weren’t happy with the 4.75, so they updated the backpack and sent me a new one. They have continued engineering this already fantastic bag to make it even better.
