Hey PA BT-ers!

If you're looking to improve your bike split this year, check out our upcoming Winter Training Program. We're running two 8-week sessions of progressive power-based training in our studio in Newtown Square. You can choose to use one of our power-enabled spin bikes or bring your own bike and use one of our Tacx Bushido trainers.

Classes are Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 7 pm, with the first series beginning January 14. You can register for the full program (either 1 night or both nights) or participate on a drop-in basis. But of course, more consistent participation will yield better results...

Cost for the full program is $149, but I'm offering a 10% BT discount on the Winter Training Series, 10 or 20 Class Packages, or 3 Month Unlimited Class Package. Enter promo code BT2014 at checkout.

You can read a little more detail on the program here.

Happy Training!

p.s. Here are some basic details on the program:

• Two 8-week sessions of progressive, power-based interval training
• 2 sessions per week (Tu/Th @ 7 pm)
• Participate in the full program (1 or 2 nights per week) or participate on a “drop in” basis (if spots are available).
• 1 session per week focuses on longer, steady-state (Threshold) intervals, the other focuses on shorter, higher intensity intervals (VO2 Max). The sessions will “flip-flop” week to week, so if you can only participate in 1 session per week, you’ll be exposed to both types of training.
• Ride our power-enabled spin bikes, or bring your own bike & use one of our trainers.
• The program begins & ends with Threshold Testing to measure progress.

The program begins TONIGHT (1/14), and we have a few open bikes. Tonight is Threshold Testing night with Sufferfest Rubber Glove. Fun, fun, fun!

Join us even if you just want to check it out, no need to commit to the full program. But I suggest you reserve online if you're interested, as it's likely the class will fill. There will probably be spots available on a "drop-in" basis for the remaining classes in the program.

To prevent a mental breakdown before you even get to the starting line, use the winter months to set goals, build your base, vary your workouts, cut back on training and throw in some variety.
