Subject: RE: Winter Bike Training Program in Delco p.s. Here are some basic details on the program:
• Two 8-week sessions of progressive, power-based interval training
• 2 sessions per week (Tu/Th @ 7 pm )
• Participate in the full program (1 or 2 nights per week ) or participate on a “drop in” basis (if spots are available ).
• 1 session per week focuses on longer, steady-state (Threshold ) intervals, the other focuses on shorter, higher intensity intervals (VO2 Max ). The sessions will “flip-flop” week to week, so if you can only participate in 1 session per week, you’ll be exposed to both types of training.
• Ride our power-enabled spin bikes, or bring your own bike & use one of our trainers.
• The program begins & ends with Threshold Testing to measure progress.
