Subject: Good places for swim/bike bricks?
I'm deathly afraid of getting my mountain bike stolen. It's the only bike I have and it's reasonably nice.

As such, I don't feel comfortable just riding up to the beach or the pool or whatever and doing a brick. Is there anywhere that you guys have found locally that is convenient?

I might have one solution, but I'd have to go out to Hatzic Lake in Mission and do it REALLY early before the waterskiiers get going...so I'm hoping for something better than that...

When I do an open water swim / bike brick I keep my bike in my truck. then i get to change and put my wet suit away also.
hope that helps.
good luck with what ever you decide.

Thats a good Idea. Lock it in your car.

What I do, is just come home and go. Its not the best Idea but it gets the job done without loosing your precious!

I guess I never thought of doing that because I always had transition time in mind when doing the brick. Maybe I'm overdoing it though, heh.
