Comments: Overall the run felt pretty good throughout. I wasn't the happiest with my time but considering the 40-50mph gusts and iced over roads I can't complain too much. Post race

Got up at 5:30 and had a powerbar, cup of coffee blended with ice, 1/2 cup almond milk and 1 tablespoon of protein powder. Then continued sipping on water up until the race, where I took a powerbar gel 5 minutes before. Testing out the new nutrition plan...
20 minutes of 5 minutes easy, 5x(30sec at 10 race pace, 1:30 easy) then 5 minutes easy. Ended up timing it perfectly and running to the starting line with a few minutes to spare.
