Subject: Custom Training Plan Cadence Target Correct?
I have a custom training plan that has an interval:

Set #1 11m / 1.06 miles
Speed/Efficiency
Intervals: 8x0.3' on 1' rest
Strides/Cadence: These are short interval repeats at a 5K pace with recovery in-between. Try to focus on getting 45 left footstrikes per minute or 90 combined

According to this:
http://triathlon.competitor.com/2013/05/training/increase-your-runn...

the optimal cadence is 180 steps (both feet) per minute. This workout is calling for half of that.

Or am I just reading it all wrong?

Yikes.  It should be 45 left footstrikes per 30 seconds.  You are correct.  I will get that corrected on the plan generator.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

No problem. I was mad confused when I was making the on the Garmin.

I know this is a long shot, but is there a way to automatically run my BT workouts into a Garmin workout? Right now I manually create each workout on Garmin Connect. It would be awesome if there would be a way to automate it.

Studies have shown a correlation between pedaling at a high cadence and running at a high cadence, which leads to faster running. The shorter your ground contact time , the less chance for injury.
