Comments: 34 and under females were last wave out. FOr some reason the water seemed very choppy to me by this point, at least more than my previous races. There were a couple of people around me doing the breaststroke or something of the sort and I had a hard time getting away! Thats ok though, they were doing their race to and i just need to learn how to manuver better. I never felt like I could get in a rythym though. What would you do differently?: Im not sure what would have helped on th is one, i think being last leg out and it being a mostly out aond back make it pretty choppy, no biggie though.. maybe work on some speed Transition 1
Comments: We had to run along the road for about 700 meters to the transition area. Alot of people brough their shoes to do this, I didnt, and it was ok. Just made for a really long T1 time. Everything else was fine What would you do differently?: NOthing Bike
Comments: The bike was not bad for me.. It wasnt too difficult, a few little inclines and maybe one hill, so it was mostly flat and fast. I think if my bike fit a little better i would be happier with biking. Im working on a new bike that might fit me better. But overall good. What would you do differently?: Work on more power, and look at some different bikes. Transition 2
Comments: Fine, I took my time a little because normally i come otu too fast into the run Run
Comments: I decided to do the run this time without a watch or anything. Just go run and see how i felt and go with it. I think that it worked well, I felt like i enjoyed it a little bit more, and while i wasnt as fast as i hoped, i was satisfied with the run. I would like to drop 30 sec per mile off my run times in the tris, we'll see! What would you do differently?: Need to work on more tempo and speed, i know i can cover double the distances, but need more speed now i think Post race
Warm down: ate some and walked around a little What limited your ability to perform faster: Need to work on more power and speed still. I think i have a decent base now of covering double the distances im racing, so its speed time Last updated: 2006-08-07 12:00 AM

nothing special again... just got up and ate some food. Tried eating and drinking a little more than usual this time to see how i would handle it. Seemed to be ok. I also almost forgot my helmet when walking down to start.. thank god i remembered or i would have been done come T1!! i need to go back to making lists and having everythign in a bag.
NOthing much over the 700m walk from the transition area to the start. That made for a long T1 time on the way back!
