Glad I'm not the one to have to clean that out of my bike!  The question is what happened to the rider?

It for real, Rob.

I think the cleanup was relatively easy and the wheel was still true afterwards, with good brakes. The rider did come off of the bike, shoulder injury and messed up hands.
