Subject: Android sync

So I am a long time Iphone user and and used Itunes to sync data from my phone to my PC.  I recently upgraded to an Android based Samsung Note 3 and was able to successfully move all my data from the Iphone to the Samsung.  However, I now don't know the best option to sync my data from the Samsung to the PC.  I am curious what others are using and the pro's and cons of various syncing strategies?  Any input is appreciated.

What type of data?  If your contact, then you should set up contacts in gmail.  For ITunes, I used ISyncr for PC (Free version), lets you sync playlists.  I don't do that anymore, and instead have a Google Play music account (the free one). This syncs all my music from Itunes (on my pc) to the google cloud, and then I can access it anywhere.  The best thing is if I buy music from Itunes on my pc, it automatically uploads it to the cloud so I can listen on my phone or any computer.  

For other types of data, let me know.  I also use dropbox to sync data between devices.  Very easy and again free.  Free is one of the best reason to avoid the I... universe.
