Total Time = 2h 52m 57s
Overall Rank = 110/142
Age Group = 25-29
Age Group Rank = 4/5
Pre-race routine:

Lots of sleep and hydration the previous two days. Woke up early and had a Clif Bar.
Event warmup:

Five minutes of swimming.
Swim
  • 28m 15s
  • 1500 meters
  • 01m 53s / 100 meters
Comments:

Rough swim. Got kicked and punched a lot. Some a-hole guy wouldn't let me pass, so I sprinted past huim, after which he intentionally swam over me! I had a lot of trouble breaking from the pack. My PR in this jkind of swim is 25 minutes, so this swim sucked.
What would you do differently?:

Train more in the pool. I let it go because it was my strongest sport, but I think I let it go too much. I was floundering!
Transition 1
  • 04m 1s
Comments:

LONNNG run with bike.
What would you do differently?:

Learn to run with cleats.
Bike
  • 1h 15m 2s
  • 24.85 miles
  • 19.87 mile/hr
Comments:

Best bike ever. I have gotten strong on the bike, so much so that I'd say my bike was better than my swim. Great ride with little wind--rare for that course along the river.
What would you do differently?:

Get a new aerodrink straw. Too short!
Transition 2
  • 02m 59s
Comments:

Ouch.
Run
  • 1h 02m 39s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 10m 05s  min/mile
Comments:

Miserable run. Not sure if I went too hard on the bike or not, but I felt like crap on the run. Experienced chills and headache (heat exhaustion??). Ran first mile in 8:30 though it felt like 11:30. Last mile was incredibly slow. All over bad.
What would you do differently?:

Train more in the run. More speedwork.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of run training and swim training.

Event comments:

For my first Olympic, it was ok. I am not happy with my rank, but it gives me something to work from. I think if I pick up the speed on the run, I have a chance. I also need to spend more time on the swim. Basically, I need to quit my job and train full time.

All in all, I would say not a bad first olympic tri.  You now know what you need to do training wise and have one race in your pocket.  Keep up the good work and nice race.
