Registration just opened for MOWS (Madison Open Water Swim).  There are only 500 entry spots with 148 already taken (one of those is me).  This thing fills up fast, so if you want to join the fun, register soon!

Yes, in fact I will be doing at least 2 full loops (and probably a chunk of the stick).  I will finish it up with a short run too!  Just like in 2012, it will be my max endurance day and I suspect I will be in Madison until sometime around dinnertime.

if you want to get an earlier start on the day. A bunch of people swim the course before the race starts (buoys are already up) and then bike the IM course.

I’m only slightly thick in the head, but there is a gremlin-ish energy in the air as I prepare for my run. It occurs to me that this is not gonna be a comfortable 8 miles. This is gonna hurt.
