Anything in Albuqueurque June-August?

 96 |  Subject: Anything in Albuqueurque June-August?Just throwing this out there - does anyone know if there are any good triathlons in Albuquerque over the time range listed (early June-early August)? We will be there this summer, and a quick look doesn't show much. I would be perfectly happy to find local events with fewer people. I would love to find an Olympic in late July, but if anyone does know of anything please feel free to post. Thank you. |

Master 1858 Salt Lake City | Subject: RE: Anything in Albuqueurque June-August? I can't speak for NM, but when I lived in southern Arizona, tri season was pretty much split between march-may and september-november. Its just too hot to race in the summer months... |

Check out Chasing3's caledar, They list most everything in NM: http://www.chasing3.com/events/ There's never been a Oly in ABQ that I know of (no place to swim other than pools here) and most Olys that were close have been cancelled due to lack of participation. I think the only Oly distance tri in NM this year is the City of Lakes Tri... |

My FIL lives in Phoenix and I cringe every time he tells me how early he wakes up to ride in the summertime. |
