Subject: RE: HELP wanted small triathlon bike Hi funny you should ask about this as I was getting ready to post that I have a small (48 cm) 2002 Cervelo One for sale. I was going to ask for $450 for it (not including shipping). I bought it in late 2006 - it was "new old-stock", i.e. new but older model. The catch is that I am in Denver, CO and it looks like you are in in Iowa so it would have to get shipped and you would be taking a gamble that it would fit. Here is a link to a review: http://www.bikesportmichigan.com/reviews/cervelo02.shtml There are some differences in components. Here is what is on my bike - Wheels: Easton Vista (650)
- Tires: Maxxis Xenith Hors Categorie
- Fork: Profile Design BDC (carbon)
- Shifters: Dura Ace
- Brakes: Dia-Compe
- Front derailleur: Tiagra
- Rear derailleur: Ultegra
- Cranks: Ultegra (double 53/39)
- Cassette: Ultegra (9-speed, 12-27, also have an 11-23 that it came with, I switched it out soon after I got it - needed the lower gears here in Colorado!)
I would say that it has less than 1,000 miles on it - maybe even less than 500. Nothing to do with the bike - I loved it. In 2007 I sustained some hip injuries that even though I have recovered from them, I haven't been able to ride comfortably for any length of time in an aero position. Plus I have moved away from doing triathlons, at least for now. It definitely needs a new home where it will get used. Let me know if you have any interest or if you have any questions. |
