My legs didn't feel tired when I biked after the run (about 2 minute break ). However, it felt weird running with bike shorts. I wore my swimsuit , then leggins, then the bike shorts. So on race day, I don't have to change into something except take the leggins off and the shorts off for the swim.
I don't know if I need a tri suit. The swimming is an indoor pool. I like the extra padding of the bike shorts because it protects my butt from chafing  I also used a cream (as prescribed in one of the forums ). Edited by Phebes 2014-07-05 11:38 PM
