Pre-race routine:

Started stretching while my oatmeal was cooking. Consumed 12oz Cytomax, one coffee and oatmeal.
Event warmup:

Ran .25m and stretched more than normal.

Comments:

I felt I gave it all on the course. I was running beside two other runners with the finish in sight and just could not muster the energy to pull away from them. I think I prefer hidden finish lines or ones just after corners so you can't see them. It was tough running as long as I did with it in sight.
What would you do differently?:

Aside just from being faster, I can't think of anything.
Post race
Warm down:

Wandered around, had a burger [come on, the race was in the OKC Stockyards], one bottle of water and one energy drink [they were giving them away].

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My cardio.

Hey, I just found out that this was a PR!!!!! My previous best time was 23:31! Yea, me.
