Comments: Good time as for my abilities. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition. What would you do differently?: Take off swim cap and googles during run. Bike
Comments: The west wind gusts slowed me down in addition to more hills on the course. What would you do differently?: Train more - spend ore hours on rolling hills. Transition 2
Comments: Too slow with running the bike and attaching race number. What would you do differently?: Put the belt with number while running. Run
Comments: I do not tolerate well running in such a hot weather. I could run faster, but monitored my heart rate and when reaching to close to high 150s had to slow down. Good news was that I did not walk at all with the exception of stopping at two drinking stations and to pee at 2nd mile. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walk and some stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Hot weather and no sport drinks on the course - only water. Event comments: This was my second international and third race in Pleasant Prairie. I like this event and will do it next year too. This was a perfect Father's day celebration as my son did a sprint distance. It would be nice to have sports drink on the run course, especially on such a hot day like today. There was not so much food left for late finishers like me, but overall very nice day. Last updated: 2015-05-31 12:00 AM

Woke up at 3:30am, two slices of bread with white cheese and coffee for breakfast. Arrived at 4:30 and found close parking spot next to transition area. The bike was already there since yesterday, so the set up did not take much time.
Light jog and stretching for 15 min.
