Swam at least 200m more because was sighting the buyo for Olympic. Then, turned around when another guy did a sharp 90 turn.
What would you do differently?:

Start further to the right. Position myself better.

What would you do differently?:

Try no socks, it was wet anyways.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Hills.

Event comments:

No clear instructions on the start. It would be good to have a 5min and in warning.
My heart goes to the family of the fellow that had a heart attack during the swim, very sad.
Would be good if Sprint and Olympic had different swim cup colors.
The comment during the pre-briefing meeting that nobody is looking if you are drafting provided a "permission" for some to draft.

Will sustained exercise at or near maximum heart rate increase the risk of heart damage, or heart failure. Is the cardiac muscle also subject to strain and damage as other muscles?
