it was raining, then fog, then high winds, then heat. I could not wait to get off this bike. Nothing enjoyable about this ride. Mile 40 I had enough. The last mile was some sort of bike path. it was like going off road on a 2 x 2 path. no passing even if you could.

I had no clue this run was going to be this hilly. Mile 5-7 straight up hill on a dirt road. Horrible I just don't do trail running, I was shot after that. limped in.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lake placid in july. Motivation is not there

Event comments:

After the race there was a BBQ. They had chicken legs, veggie burgers with 2 pasta dishes. They limited your food to a max of 2 chicken pieces each for my wife and I. You were also checked off so you could not return on line. For this reason I will never do this toughman event. What a cheap thing to do. I do 1 Full IRONMAN and 4-6 halfs a year. This has never happened ever.BS
