While Stephen Colbert has had some very funny bits on 2016's election, a close second in my opinion has been Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
Here is a gem from Triumph: (slightly NSFW)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-RXSVVnOhA

He takes Mike Huckabee under his wing in this episode from earlier in the campaign.
Enjoy.

Edit: btw, Triumph talking to young voters in New Hampshire is even funnier...he lambastes political correctness in this one (again, NSFW)

That's the beauty of Triumph. He rips everybody. R's, D's, Occupy Wall Street Protesters, concert-goers...oh man. Good stuff.

Oh man, that was so funny.  The Huck/Trump/Sanders/Hillary dogs had me rolling.

I still think his star wars premier bit was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.  lol

Glad ya liked it. Yes, back in the day the Star Wars and Bon Jovi concert bits were my favorites...then he kinda dropped off the radar for me.
Now, there are so many gems...I thought I was going to fall off the treadmill at the gym a few times.
The Occupy Wall Street stuff in NYC provided Triumph with endless opportunities to make fun of people.
The Bon Jovi concert, the beer makers convention, and comic-con are also great.

There is a hilarious live appearance he does at a Democratic debate this year too where he rips Hillary and Bernie...just thought you'd love it Tony.
enjoy.

Apparently, he's teamed up with Hulu and Funny or Die to do regular Election 2016 coverage.

Some candidates (like Huckabee) get it. Some don't. O'Malley didn't...and Santorum was frighteningly unaware and awkward.

The absolute funniest Triumph bit of all time was when he interviewed the freaks who were hanging out outside the LA County Courthouse during the Michael Jackson molestation trial. Google it.

Dog training techniques have surprising parallels to triathlon training and race preparation. All the lessons I THOUGHT were for my dogs started seeming very applicable to me! Here's what I learned.

Running does not cause injury. Poor running form does. Running is more enjoyable, and safer if you know what you’re doing. And yes, even old dogs can learn new tricks.
