Subject: open water swim locations
I will be visiting the Vancouver area at the end of May. Where can I go for open water swimming? Also hope to be on my bike 50-60 miles, what routes would you recommend(scenery would be great)? Thanks for any info!

Lots of open water swimming along spanish banks...see guys out there all the time. Same goes for kits, but you will have to work with the tides. There are usually drop in swim groups in the late afternoons you can join.

Otherwise, I usually head out to sasamat lake, or if you find yourself in whistler. alta lake is pretty awesome too.
