up 6:50, 2 cups coffee, bowl of Total raisin, cup OJ, cup water, half peanut butter bar. arrive 8:20, get bib, use RR, listen to radio,
Event warmup:

run quarter mile, strip down with seconds before start. chilly with high winds

15 to 20 mph winds. small event.
What would you do differently?:

drink more water and have less spicy food and beer the night before.

Warm down:

Walked a quarter mile. 16 oz water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

3 years off training regularly.

Event comments:

Race was low key. It was nice t do for where I am in my training. Well run except for availability of restrooms.

I can train for half marathons on pavement and on trails, but as soon as I change it up to gravel or loose dirt my knee swells and the pain it causes is unreal. Any ideas why this happens?
