I bought this in 2010 and have put about 6,000 miles on it on training rides and a several triathlons. I want to sell off one of my bikes because I no longer race triathlons and I decided I will be content to do my road riding
(more slowly
) on my steel frame commuter.
This bike would be great opportunity for a beginning triathlete who wants a fast bike without paying full price at a bike store!
I have never crashed on it or done anything to it that might damage the frame. At the end of last summer I had my LBS give the frame a good look over and they said everything looked fine. You are welcome to inspect it for yourself, or take it to whomever you like to inspect it before buying.
It is in very good condition with the exception of the front tire
(original?
) and the pedals, which should both be replaced. The chain is close to needing to be replaced, but I will get that done before cassette damage and before I sell it. Consider a new chain included in the price.
In the picture of my bike, the seat is not the stock seat. I plan on keeping the pictured seat becaue it fits my bottom nicely. The stock seat is not very nice so you will probaly want to buy your own.
Extra items:
Ritchey Torque key for the carbon seatpost is included.
Profile Design T2+ Aluminum aerobars
(excellent condition, I only used for one season
) that I will throw in with the bike for a little more money
($30ish?
) if you want we can negotiate.
The stock stem and the stem I replaced it with
(shorter, more rise
) will be included.
Make an offer and I will consider it! I want to get rid of it before I move this September!
I live in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I'm not sure how I would get it to you.We can discuss that if you're interested.
