IM Texas in 2018?

Member  105 |  Subject: IM Texas in 2018?Sincerest apologies if I am off the beam here, but does anyone know anything about the status of IM Texas in 2018? The official IM website went from advertising it as "TBD"/"Opening Soon" to dropping it from the list of races. I had hoped to sign up but am now wondering if I need a new plan for next year. Any info (even rumors) would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks! |

I just found it odd that instead of simply maintaining a status of "Opening Soon", they completely deleted it off the page and associated event map. I will try my best to be patient.  |

And I am not sure why they would pull it completely off the map if it were just a delay in finalizing details. I was really looking forward to doing this race in 2018. I hope I didn't jinx it. |

But it just got re-listed within the past day or so. Prior to that it had been dropped off. So my anxiety attack is over, but I won't sleep peacefully until I am registered, LOL. |

My two anxiety hurdles are registering and having me & all my stuff show up intact at the race site. After clearing those, life is good. |

Expert 2547 The Woodlands, TX | Subject: RE: IM Texas in 2018? should be a July registration date. I've with some Ironman people about marketing/live feed/web, and they said they are working on changes, so that might be the hiccup. Either way, course was approved so it should be good to go. |
