Subject: Lap pool in Orlando
Hi,

I'm going to be in Orlando at the end of the month for a family vacation for 10 days, staying at the Reunion resort, just west of Kissimmee.

I'm currently training for a 10k OWS race and want to get a couple of swims in while I'm there.

Can anyone recommend a good pool near by?

Plenty of pools in FL!  However outdoor pools might be a bit warm for long swims.  The YMCA Aquatic Center is up I4 just past 528 and is temp controlled indoor Olympic pool, my kids swim there all the time for Y swim club.  If you care you can call and see if they are still doing 50m lane lines are only 25 yards, long course season is over.  http://aquaticcenterymca.com/

There's also Lucky's lake swim groups that swim a 1k out and back in a spring lake, also up I4 near Universal. All virgins though must have a buoy of some type for the first 3x, no exceptions. http://www.luckyslakeswim.com/

Check out Lucky's. Kinda legendary in this neck of the woods. The alligator danger is way overblown.

If you want some good open water look up lucky's lake swim or come to Clermont. We have a beautiful lake and people are always swimming at it. Google maps Waterfront Park Clermont FL.
