Champion 10157 Alabama | Subject: Woman’s march I’ve been reading and watching the demonstration/protest and scratching my head. I honestly do not see the issue? What are their demands? I think putting a hat on their head kinda of diminishes their credibility. Why draw attention to that as defining women? I guess maybe because some manboobs are bigger than theirs. Maybe I will knit a d-hat to protest white male vilification? This (mostly) TIC. |

They should organize and screen out the loon and vulgarity. That seems to me to diminish their protest. The tea party rally took out the guy with the triple k sign. They said that does not represent us. |

I'm not sure the marches accomplish much but I did read where they got a lot of women to register to vote. Will they turn up at the polls in November after the excitement of the trip to NYC or DC has faded? Guess we'll find out. My hope is the economy will still be booming. Hard to vote out an incumbent when you just got a better job or got a raise or got a bonus given that not a single democrat voted for the tax cuts. I'm just not sure the "Trump is a racist pig" is going to be enough to persuade people to vote against their congressmen/senator. |

Ground brisket burgers on the grill. Cleaning them is a snap. Flip em on their back, make a slit through the clear plastic and peel off. Flip contents on a hot grill, discard plastic tray. Cook to 145 internal temp and down the hatch. |

It's funny because all of my kids got used to seeing birds, deer, and small game being cleaned from a very young age. I remember one of my twins ask, as I put a burger on her plate when she was only 3 or 4 years old, "who killed this meat?" |

You did well. Understanding that something has to die in order for her to eat and only 4 years old! |

You did well. Understanding that something has to die in order for her to eat and only 4 years old! Yep. I hunt. My kids hunt (all but one, but even she suspends her vegetarian ways for wild game). Of course we no longer hunt to sustain our family, but we can, and we will if needed.....I'm no prepper or survivalist....I'm just a guy raising kids to understand their place in the world. The big win, as you say, is getting them to understand that something has to die for them to eat, and understanding the respect and responsibility that comes with it. It's becoming a lost lesson for sure (and it shows more and more in society)......but I feel lucky to be able to pass it on at least one more generation. |

My wife grew up on a farm in western NE and her dad made her clean a chicken. To this day she will not even buy chicken unless it is boneless, skinless breasts. I have to go to Bojangles of KFC if I want any other part of a chicken. I have to clean my own fish too.....”Women! Can’t live with ‘em.....pass the beer nuts Cliff.” - Norm, Cheers. |

Pro 6838 Tejas | Subject: RE: Woman’s march Really wished that I enjoyed wild game enough to go hunting. The truth is that I really don't care for it, for the most part. I could take enough venison and white wing doves to feed my entire family; from right here on my property! Ducks and geese aren't too long of a drive away either. And if I had a taste for wild pig… it'd be an effking Luau every weekend up in here. |
