Judicial Watch Sues For Records on Obama Admin. Role in Placing Russian Ambassador at RNC

"Then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), now the U.S. attorney general, reportedly spoke with Kislyak at that convention, an encounter that compelled him to recuse himself from the investigation of alleged Russia-Trump collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign."

You don't have to be stupid to be set up and trapped.

When you see the levels of effort that were taken to set up the Russian collusion, it's crazy. Unfortunately they took little effort to hide their tracks and Hillary didn't win, so it's coming out.

That's exactly what it was! By the book entrapment.

Come on Rog, That article starts with the statement "According to Congressman Nunes, no “official intelligence” launched it." Nunez lost all reasonable credibility quite a while ago, and that quote pretty much tells me all I need to know about the authors slant on things.

I like Nunes. He is working hard to get to the bottom of things. He has been very effective at uncovering the misdeeds of the DOJ and FBI.

Comey, Brennan, Rice and Hillary should be very concerned.

...gonna have to agree to disagree about Devin Nunez here. Likely not to have much of a voice after the midterms.

  • Agree. And he recognizes that. I heard him say that they had to get to bottom of everything before Nov as dems will shut down their investigations. That is disconcerting. Reps and Dems alike should be interested in finding the truth. Congress has a constitutional responsibility to oversee the DOJ and FBI and if there were abuses, people need to held accountable. So Nunez will be putting pressure on DOJ and FBI officials - subpoenas, contempt and impeachment if they don't get what they have requested.

The Dems are not interested in anything that remotely resembles finding the truth......they just want the WH......period.

I know you're all for the Russia investigation, but don't you feel the Democrats should be investigated as well?  Just out of curiosity, what is it you do not like about Nunez?  I mean, to lose all credibility he must have done something very bad in your eyes.

As the chair of the House Intelligence committee he should have had at least the veneer of independence from the White house as that is one of the Constitutional responsibilities of Congress' - exert oversight over the Executive branch. He didn't event try to uphold this:

One example, I could flood this post with them.
