Elite  4583   |  Subject: 6.7.18 Thursday StuffGood morning! Just 30 minutes of strength + stretching for me today. I slept in--ended up taking one of our dogs into a Salt Lake City vet (120 miles) for an ear infection yesterday afternoon and didn't get home until after 11pm. She was shaking her head so much she burst some blood vessels in one ear and ended up with a hematoma that needed to be drained. All good though, got some meds to take care of the ear infection. 1/2 day of school today...well for the kids anyway. At least this afternoon I can work in my room in peace! Lol! Have a great day! 702  Aledo, Texas | Subject: RE: 6.7.18 Thursday Stuff Hey there. It was tough waking up this morning for me, too. A friend's kid is in the hospital with acute flaccid myelitis. It's super rare, can cause permanent paralysis, etc. Had a chance to visit her parents - good news is the kiddo is defying doctors' expectations and may escape with very limited paralysis. 6:00 - 30' run with 2 x 3' at tempo. I had it in my head that I was doing 3 x 3, so after my second recovery interval, I started busting out a hard effort. Looked at my watch after about 3 minutes and realized I was already in the cool down. Ha! Have a good day. |

| 623 | Subject: RE: 6.7.18 Thursday Stuff Pull ups and some scapular/upper back strengthening this afternoon. 4 mile run during the afternoon heat. Definitely have a way to go to get ready for Augusta. I was able to get my bike back in riding shape yesterday. I don't have access to my two biggest cogs on my cassette, but I think this will work for the time being. |
