Comes with HR Monitor and the quick attachment system to move unit from wrist to bike quickly. Charger etc.

Seems like a good deal from what I can gather.

Thoughts?

Not sure your location, but in Ontario, Canada that would be an exceptional deal.

Watches seem to be like cars. The minute they roll off the show room floor (walk out of the store) they lose virtually all of their resale value. I got a used 920XT the guy had used 2 or 3 times for a fraction of the initial cost.

So I say $100 is a great deal in your in my region.

That's a good intro watch deal.
I saw intro since they already have the 735xt and 935 watches out that are newer models.

The 910xt will not be supported soon and it will not work with some of their connect IQ apps.

What do you mean by not supported? Does Garmin just leave its legacy products in the dust?

They will do what they can, but if they don't have parts to fix it, or software patches that address the problem, they will offer a credit towards a new device.

The also do not make new software compatible to certain models. See the list of compatible devices from their developer site.

910 isn't even on there.

It's a solid watch, but any bugs it has will never be addressed from now on.

Thanks again for the heads up! I think I'm just going to roll with it through the end of the year and then sell it in favor of a newer device. I just need it to train for and compete in an event in September.

I had a 910xt and over the course of a couple years returned it for refurbished units twice. When the start button stopped working, I upgraded to the 920xt that I have been very happy with. Personally, I would not get a 910xt , even if it was cheap. I have had no issues with the 920xt and love being able to use it as a watch in addition to it being a training tool. I was just on a business trip for a week and still have over half the charge on the 920xt.

I would say, that is a fair price. Not to high and not too low.. The 910 is a workhorse and with the HR monitor does everything you need. Like others have said, it is unsupported. You may get 5-10 good years. It may be dead tomorrow. Mine is going on 6
