Pre-race routine:

Got up about 6:30 am and took a nice hot shower. Ate a 1/2 PB&J. Got to the race about an hour early for the race.
Event warmup:

Walked and Joged around the block 4 times.

Good run fast but not to fast. Could have pushed a little harder. Lost about 40 seconds when we didn't know which turn to take.
What would you do differently?:

I would have run the course. Run some more hills with more pickup runs. Just did bike rides this week, should have run more also.

T1 was ok didn't know which gloves to use. time was faster than other transitions. Need to work on riding and putting on shoes to cut T1 time.

Have some cold weather gloves.

Would like to do beetter on avg speed, and keep my Avg HR lower.

Not much. Would like to have a HR mon. and bike computer. That way I can keep my HR mon. on arm and computer on bike.

Need to work on bricks more often. Took to long to get into my stride. Kept HR down. Cold have pushed a little harder in this run.

Warm down:

Wolk around with family. Had some Pizza, water and baggle.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The hills were big and I need to be ready for hill

Event comments:

Should have some people to give direction at some of the spots where patrhs cross. A little confustion with this. Other wise the race was great.
