Good morning BT!

Leg day this morning...that was rough!

After breakfast out with the dog squad for a trail run at an easy pace.  Going out for a hard mtn bike/hike combo tomorrow morning so no need to push it today--I don't know if I can anyway--the legs are tired!

Curtis, smart to get the nutrition figured out now, especially finding out what doesn't work.  I had a nutrition plan for my recent 55K--but after about mile 25 I grabbed whatever looked good at the aid station.  Thankfully nothing went wrong with that plan! Lol!

1 hr ride today. Was supposed to be easy, but it wasn’t. HR was about the same as during the bike portion of my race last Saturday. Oops.

41 mile bike ride followed up with an easy 1 mile run just to keep the legs moving.

Good afternoon all!

This morning I officiated a swim meet my daughter was participating in. I had quite a few DQ slips to fill out It was the first time she swam the 100 fly and she took third overall in it, and looked good doing it! Proud daddy here!

This afternoon it is hotter than what I want to run in, so i went to the YMCA, where they have an indoor track. I don't know what they made this track out of, but after about a mile, my legs start really hurting, so I do a run/ walk thing there. Today was 5 laps running followed by one lap walking. Garmin let me down on this one; I had to stop to use the restroom, and the pause looks too long for a potty break, but the pace is way too slow to be an extra rep. So I either did 7 sets or 8, plus 5 laps walking before and after the sets. It was either 3.5 miles total or 3.9 total.
