I started getting a cramp in my side so I slowed down. I did try to draft I think it would be eaiser if i could see more tham 6 inches. Entry and exit were very rocky and hard on the feet

I had some problums with the hills but not too bad there had to be 15 people with flat tires I do not know why I did not see any wire or glass on the road.

Seemed like the longest 5k i have ever done no more than 100 yards of flat ground at any one time Up down turn over and over. also very hard to determine where you are on the course. Ran the forst 2 miles then started walking the up hills.

Great job Cliff!!  2mph improvement on the bike, and amost two minutes per mile on what sounds like a much more difficult run course than Jefferson.  Very impressive - you should be proud of yourself!

Thank you for the kind words I broke down the individual events swim 16/27 bike 18/27 run 20/27 I held back on the swim due to a cramp and the bike I am rather satisfied about but I continue to be very dissappointed in my running ability yes it was a much tougher run course than Jefferson but still!!! well I am planning on dropping 10 pounds over the next 4 weeks that should help and then Ill push my way to the Houston Half Marathon that has got to help me but ultimatley I need to hit the hills.
