Prepare to be offended......

Trump 'mocked' Ford? No, this is woman mocked Ford:

https://www.indy100.com/article/brett-kavanaugh-star-wars-voice-actr...

Trump just reiterated what Ford said. He did not try to mimic her voice. This woman mocked her voice and speech patterns.

While I don't condone mocking, I do think that people who study and analyze voice and speech patterns can draw a few conclusions.

I have always hated the inflection/question at the end of declarative sentences. My kids started that when they were in HS as so many kids talked that way and I quickly put a kabash to that! I told them if you have a question, then make you statement a question! If you are unsure of yourself, then caveat what you are saying with "I'm really not sure but....". If you are confident in what you are saying, then state it like you mean it. Don't sound like you are fearful that the person you are talking to won't "accept" you opinions or statements. Speak with confidence. Ok, rant over.

Dave, did you hurl again? ;-)

I've heard it said that the Dems are playing checkers while the Republicans play chess.  I don't think so.  When your only platform is resist, delay, disrupt, and protest.....you really aren't even in the game.  When your party leaders extol the virtue of harassing a man and his wife at dinner, because his belief's are not the same as yours, you have completely lost your way.  When you read twitter so much that you start thinking what you read there is what the majority of people think, you've made one too many left turns.

No, the Republicans might be playing chess, but the Libs aren't playing checkers, they're playing marbles.  Just flip it in there and hope it hits something.  LOL  Unfortunately for you, your idiot leaders have now galvanized the Republican voters for the midterms like no ad could ever do! Sit back and watch what happens.  You were so sure of yourself in 2016 that you missed all the fun that night.  I don't want you to miss this one.

You can't make this stuff up.

Bad analogy....democrats lost all their marbles Nov 2016.

The democrat party sure does seem like they need an intervention. Maybe it is time for an off-site meeting with all the democrat leaders, strategist and advisors. Agree to rein in the goofball giving the party a bad name. Agree to a center-left platform. Decide which battles to fight and how to fight them so they don't damage the democrat brand. Get rid of the old guard (Hillary, Waters, Pelosi, Schumer, Durbin, et al) an put in young articulate leaders. Tell Hollywood and the activist groups to STFU as they are doing more harm than good.

Fortunately for me, the dems never take my 'advice'.

I know witch hunt is way overused but there is a lot of similarity between the Kavanaugh and people accused of witxhcraft in Salem. Imagine being accused of being a witch and having to prove you are not a witch or be burned at the stake. The fact that you deny being a witch proves you must be a witch. #mewitchtoo.

Any good? I was a big fan of their Double Bock back in the day. Is that sufficiently hopped to avoid being another Shiner Bock taste alike?

Very good but it’s a one or two beer. Very rich. Came in a SA seasonal variety pack which is good cause two of them was enough and time to move to a lighter brew.

Their DB was like that. I managed to get four of the down one evening with a buddy and woke up the next day relatively hung over. That's when I checked to see the alcohol content.

So now the Dems are saying they are going to keep fighting and move toward the impeachment of Kavanaugh.  Part of their reasoning is to keep their base fired up with the midterms coming.  Just curious......is that because they think their base is so stupid that they'll buy anything?  How in the name of hell does anyone in their right mind think a lawfully confirmed SCJ will be removed from office with a 2/3 vote from the senate??  LMAO

Yes, yes....I understand the House can Impeach.....but that's not how the Dems portray it to their congregation.   They advertise it as if Kavanaugh will be off the bench.  Uh........nope.

They sound like spoiled kids who didn’t get their way. The same Dems who are calling for it are some of the same ones who argued that Clinton could not be impeached for perjury.

I hope that is their platform. O-C is saying the Senate needs to be like the House with no electoral college. IOW, only big city liberals would govern the US. Every time she opens her mouth she makes more republicans. Oh the far left socialist cheer but most democrats just cringe.

I can't figure out who would vote for this woman.  I guess I need to get out of the Midwest and see what's going on over there.....or maybe their water is just forked up.

When you're just scraping by and barely surviving on free gubmint stuff; along comes someone who tells you they'll give you even more gubmint stuff. That's who votes for her. Who doesn't want free college? They neglect to remember why they didn't go to college in the first place, guess they think the gubmint will do their homework or take the tests.
