Pre-race routine:

Woke-up about 5:30am, showered and headed out. Was surprised to see that it was raining and lightning outside. When I got to the race site it was still raining. They announced that the olympic distance racers were going to be only swimming and biking the same distance as the sprint and that the race was delayed.
Event warmup:

Didn't really do much to warm-up, other than swim a little right before my wave.

Nothing.

I was pretty much out of gas on the run. Just couldn't run any faster.

Train more for this. Need to build up more endurance, so I am not completely spent on the run.

Warm down:

Walked around, had a smoothie.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The run, need to train more.

Event comments:

Tom Ryan did a great job organizing this race. I will definitely try to compete in all his races.
