This looks like it would be a good movie. I was disappointed to read that they went political and left out the iconic scene of the astronauts planting the US flag. Their rationale was that the lunar landing was a "human accomplishment". True but that does not make it mutually exclusive to being an American accomplishment. I worked directly for two different managers at Boeing who worked on the Apollo program. I loved listening to the old greybeards tell stories about the Apollo programs. I remember one of them tell about how they designed the wheels and all the tests they did on various concepts before settling on a final design.

Trivia questions:

How many times did man walk on the moon? Hint, Michael Jackson never did.

How many times have we (US of A) landed a manned spacecraft on the moon?

How many times has any other country landed a manned spacecraft on the moon? I'll give you this one, ZERO!

I will wait till this comes on HBO to watch it.

I remember watching the landing with my mom on a black and white TV in their bedroom while my dad was working night shift. We thought the technology needed to broadcast it live from the moon was unreal.  LOL  I won't spoil the movie for you in case you don't know how it ended.

We were living in Venezuela when this happened. Seem to recall it was really late (2AM?) but my parents made sure we got to see it.

My recollection is that it was sometime between 11 and midnight here in the midwest......but maybe it was later.  I like beer.

Check

OK, what is the significance of 10, 2 and 4.

The older you are, the more likely you are to know.

Well, I'm old enough to remember looking longingly at those commercials and then at the Dr. pepper in the soda isle when shopping with my mom.....in the 60's.....and even way back then my folks wouldn't give us soda to drink.....bastards that they were.

Unfortunately for my kids, they suffered the same fate.  That crap is just poison.

I remember when I was about 8 years old stopping at an old bait shop on the way to my graddaddy's fishing camp on Bayou Louise in Louisiana and getting an ice cold Coke or Dr Pepper in an 8 oz bottle. Man, those were awesome! Something about a glass bottle make it tastes/feel better. I prefer my beer in glass bottles too.
