Champion  10154    Alabama |  Subject: Women’s soccerSports and politics go together like ice cream and sardines. The equal pay thing is ridiculous. It’s all about revenue. Revenue generated is a function of demand. Like Yogi would say, if people don’t want to watch women play soccer, we can’t stop them. Then there is the purple headed woman that refused the WH visit and goes on TV trashing Trump and refusing to put her hand on her heart during the playing of the Nathional Anthem. I was never going to watch women’s soccer anyway.....but I suspect the viewing audience will be even smaller now that they have become political. You’d think athletes and actors would realize they are entertainers. |

I WANTED to watch them win the World Cup. But there is no avenue, with that big mouthed egotistical idiot, for me to get on board. It's a damn shame. For the record, for me, it has NOTHING to do with the fact that it's a woman. I can't get behind ANYBODY who has ran their stupid arse mouth against our country like she has.....especially while she takes the money our country pays her to play FOR our country. Ironically as a percentage of total revenue they are paid MORE than the men already. They'd have to take a pay cut to have "equal pay".
