Subject: Saturday Cycles 1-18-20
Good morning folks! Hopped on the trainer for 22.22 miles of fun this morning. It was my first spin in my new triathlon bike shoes, I’m pretty happy with the purchase. Picked up some Louis Garneau Tri X-Lite 2s for a good deal. The carbon sole is noticeably stiffer compared to my last shoes.

Might add a PM run to the day. We will see.

Today was supposed to be a bike day, but yesterday was raining and 38 def F so I did my 60 minute bike ride indoors on the trainer yesterday and did my 90 minute/12 mile run outdoors today in the sun shine.  It was nice doing the longer workout on a Saturday and to have the flexibility to avoid the cold and rain.  This was a test & recovery week.  8 weeks into training and I still feel pretty fresh.  just 5 months to got until the "A" races.  :-)
