Hey gang! Jumped on the trainer this morning for what I thought would be a flat TT group ride on zwift. Turned out to have around 2000 feet of elevation gain over 20 miles. I enjoyed the ride though, most of the climbing was in two hills that were 1.5 miles long. Got in some low cadence work for sure.

Happy Saturday!

I like the idea of Zwift. Whenever I decide to upgrade I am going to get one of those smart trainers.

90 minutes, 31 miles on the trainer this morning.

No video for me today. Listening to a book written by Bob Iger, CEO of Disney. Pretty good listen. Then put my man Biggie Smalls on for a few minutes to finish off the ride.

It is not sunny here in Southern, PA. It's a gloomy rainy mess out there.

I didn't get on the road until 7:00 AM this morning and that is right about the time it is getting light so by the end of my 12 mile run it was a beautiful sunny morning.

Some days I wish I could run longer on nice days because I love getting outside and enjoying the world around me, but not today.  On the last half of the run I was debating in my head if I should cut the run to 11 miles like the rest week training plan called for, do the 12 miles that I have done the last two weeks (and planning this morning) since I missed two other workouts this week and didn't want to feel like I was moving backwards, or to go 13.1 to add 10% to what I had done the last two weeks. Well...I didn't make it 13.1 miles.  The whole way home I was excited to hurry and get home so I could start on the rest of my day.
