She just happens to be the director or producer (not sure) for the New Balance Ad. Well....guess who has a 33% chance of being selected for the NB National Print ad?! THIS GUY!!! They just wanted to verify my age and will make a decision tomorrow morning. I'm so nervous and excited!!! But the pesimist says I have a 66% chance of not getting it...but who's counting! BT love in the house. |

I got a call last night and after about 30 seconds, I knew I didn't get it. BUT...her words were kinda cool. She said that they were certain I was a shoe in (no pun intended) and they went with someone that wasn't even on the finals list. She thinks that they managed to get a high profile or professional runner for the spot. Oh well, I was excited to even make it that far. Actually, not so much excited as shocked. And I want to Thank everyone for giving me the courage and "hey dumb butt, go!" attititude to try. You don't get to the finish line if you don't start. She also asked if they could keep my photo on file for future projects and I said yes. So you never know. Maybe the person they picked will break their leg and they will have to come crawling to me (Pun intended!)
And YES, Janice, If I had gotten it I would still talk to you. You would have just had to go through "my people" that's all. :P |
