Subject: Triathlon or road bike? 650 or 700c wheels
Hi there. I will enter my first ironman this summer (covid permitting). I currently ride a road bike with 650b wheels. i am wondering about a TT bike. i am 152cm with a 70cm inseam. is there a fast bike out there for me? Does anyone have a recommendation?

152 cm = 5’0” (a bit less) and 70 cm = 27-28” for those not conversant in metric.

650b tires are 23 mm wide and 100 psi (0.689 MPa)?

if my tire assumption is correct, you’ve already got something that will work and given your size, finding a tri bike may be quite challenging.  Very doubtful you’ll fit on anything with 700c wheels well.  i got ~1mph increase (17 to 18 mph ) going to an aero position, most of which you could get with clip on aero bars.  One thing you might consider if you haven’t already is getting shorter crank arms.  You give up a little mechanical advantage, but you may fit better pedaling around a smaller circle.
