Comments:

Swim went pretty well, breathing to the left forces you to look directly into the sun, so starting to get a headache Was able to stay near a few swimmers through the first 2-3 miles but was solo from the mid point to the finish.

No chaffing this year, plenty of diaper rash cream was used. Starting to fall apart in the last mile of so, went from strong rotation to swimming with my arms. .

The race has the logistics dialed in. This is the 25th year, a boat ride to Buck island is a great way to see the sun rise.....you're on your own getting back to STX.
