Subject: Freestyle Fundamentals
I've worked with professional and age group triathletes for over a decade now and have seen a lot of the same issues with adult learn to swim athletes and even with some professional triathletes. I put together some videos on "Freestyle Fundamentals." I've put up four so far and the first video is on how to breathe.

The first video is on how to breathe. One of the most common issues I've come across with adult learn to swim athletes is they struggle with breathing during swimming. Typically, it revolves around not wanting to exhale the air while their face is in the water. They try to exhale and inhale while they turn their head to the side to breath, the CO2 builds up over time and they eventually feel like they can't breathe. This video goes over the basics of how to breathe while you are swimming and a progression to break the skill down into smaller components.

The next three videos are on the importance of body position in the water, alignment and having one goggle in the water and one goggle out of the water when breathing. I'll be posting more videos over the coming weeks.

If anyone has any questions, I am happy to help.
