Comments: The leaders took off, and I hung in the chase pack, a group that slowly dwindled once we started the long climb. One young man stayed with me as we eventually pulled away from the rest. I sensed this young guy would out kick me at the end, so I figured my best bet was to drop him before we started the long descent. It worked well, as I kept the pace on the downs and was able to cruise to the finish. That last steep hill would've been tough to battle it out on! What would you do differently?: Nothing.  Post race
