Subject: Hello from JAX FL

I just got started training for my first season (2207) of running triathlons in ten years. I have signed up for JAX Tri series, the Hammerhead and the Florida 70.3. Three sprints an Oly and half Ironman, I hope I wasn't too amitious but I am pretty excited none the less. I look forward to training every day and enjoy the inner competion I have with myself.

I look forward to reading about the experiences and training rituals of all of you.

Train hard and have fun!

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you know what you're doing already but just took some time away from the sport. Those look like excellent goals for 2007! You're far more ambitious than I am yet. My wife and I just started training for triathlons and we hope to get in 5-8 sprints next year. It's been a blast just learning all about it and I'm already seeing the physical benefits of the training.

Again, welcome aboard. This is a fun site and group of people.

Welcome and mea culpa.

There are a few J'villers on the board - KendallF and Mike45 come to mind. You should consider the HOT (Hammerhead Oly) in Camp Blanding - GREAT race and venue.

Hello Lee! I've never been to Jax, but we have the possibility of moving up there next year, as my boyfriend applied to several surgery residencies there. Happy training, and there are a lot of cool races down in south florida too! I highly recommend doing St. Anthony's in Tampa next year- but it sells out fast- so just be aware. Welcome to BT!!
