Would like to have gone faster, but as bad as my legs felt the final hill, I think my pace was just right.

Top 10!  Congratulations!  Excellent pace on your bike.  I too fall back to sighting with a breast stroke occasionally.  It just takes practice to become comfortable with the timing of sighting during front crawl.
